I completely understand what you mean here. I have similar clothing items that strike my fancy particularly well also. Certain colors as well. And I know that all of these things trace back to the formative years.

my mum has probably influenced me - i remember seeing her in cut off denim shorts way back in the 70's, and i have an obsession with them... she is a part contributor to what i am, but i recognise a numerous amount of other influences. she knows i dress...
